The children in K17 & 18 have been dipping their toes into some folk dancing. Though at first they were hesitant, after giving one dance a try the whole hub was smiling and happy to try a selection of dances. So far we have tried 'Fjaskern' or 'Hurry Scurry' from Sweden, 'La Lambarde' from France and last Friday, Niamh was very happy to teach us 'Shoe the Donkey' from Ireland.
We have been working collaboratively on an awesome STEM project. It involves planning to meet a brief, construction, trial and error, scientific fair testing and a whole lot of team work! |
