We used a variety of techniques to create some fabulous art work - it was nearly finished before the lockdown!
We started by using water colour paints to create a background - we remembered how to bleed the colours to look very effective. We added some salt for extra effect.
Next we used black chalk pastels and some pictures of penguins to draw detailed Emperor Penguin chicks. We worked hard to blend the chalk pastel.
Then we used acrylic paints to blend blue and white to be the ice in our background
We just need to cut out our penguin and glue it onto the ice now!
